How to make progress in listening and speaking？

I have studied English in Impact for half a year until now. I have learned a lot of knowledge from the teacher and the APP. Thank you for the help of my teacher Sean over the past six months. I think I've really made progress in listening and speaking. I'd like to make a summary of what I've learned here.

1.The 5 step study method is very helpful. Here is how I understand it.

Getting the gist—Know the mean idea.

Intensive Listening&understanding—repeat to listen, understand every sentence.

Speaking&Imitating—speak every sentence loudly.

Recording&comparing—improve pronunciation.

Summarizing&personalizing—learn the English words and use them into the normal life.

2.If you want to improve your spoken English quickly, you must overcome your fear of speaking English. In the class, I can open my mouth and chat with my teacher Seanna. She always encourages and guides me to speak English around the topic.

3.If you want to improve your English, you need to expose yourself to the English environment. In the Wechat group, I always complete the learning task every week. In my free time, I usually watch some English movies and TV plays.

In future, I will keep learning English, insisting on listening, speaking, reading and writing.
